MN farmer glad full buffer zone plan didn’t pass

June 12, 2015, Osakis, MN – Bruce Asfeld of Osakis is one farmer who is glad Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton’s full plan to install 50-foot buffers on waterways everywhere didn’t pass the way it was proposed.
Even though Dayton later vetoed the agriculture omnibus bill that contained the buffer rules, most ag leaders are optimistic that the initiative will remain the same when the bill is reconsidered during a special session this month. READ MORE
