Missouri DNR containing manure spill

October 23, 2014, Callaway County, MO – The Missouri Department of Natural Resources is in the process of containing and cleaning up a manure spill in Callaway County.
The DNR said an estimated 10,000 gallons of liquid manure was spilled, contaminating an area tributary that flows into Millers Creek in the Mark Twain National Forest. While the investigation continues, the DNR said the pollutant most likely came from a local hog operation. READ MORE
