Minnesota shortly before noon Oct. 14.

Hayfield, MN – Methane gas caused an explosion inside a hog barn on a farm in
Minnesota shortly before noon Oct. 14.

The explosion was caused
by methane gas that gathered at the ceiling of the barn and was ignited by two
LP gas heaters suspended from the ceiling.
