As we start another year, we at Manure Manager look back on our first two years of
publishing and the great acceptance of the magazine in the industry.

As we start another year, we at Manure Manager look back on our first two years of
publishing and the great acceptance of the magazine in the industry.
We’d like to thank you—our readers and advertisers—for your support.
We’d also like to share some very exciting news with you.

Beginning with this issue, we are pleased to inform you that we are
expanding. We now welcome another publication, Manure Matters, to our
fold.

Over the last three years, Manure Matters developed a steady
following, with an emphasis on the manure resource from a genetics and
feed standpoint. It also has strong association links within the
livestock community. This approach will dovetail nicely with the very
successful hands-on, people and equipment-focused approach of Manure
Manager.

Over the coming year, we will continue to profile the latest
advancements in manure management, but now with a broader approach. If
you were subscribing to Manure Matters, welcome aboard! And if you are
receiving Manure Manager, you’ll be getting a bigger and better
magazine.

Under the Manure Manager banner, we expect to offer an even better and more comprehensive editorial package to our readers … six times a year. With a combination of our
circulations, we’ll be achieving even more extensive reach to the
livestock industry. This expanded reach makes Manure Manager an even
more powerful editorial and advertising package for our readers and
advertisers.

This is the latest in a series of strategic moves by Manure Manager magazine. This past fall, Jan Raulin, an experienced marketing and communications professional, joined the
magazine as sales associate. Many of you have since spoken to Jan to
congratulate her on the appointment. As publisher, I feel Jan is an
excellent addition to the Manure Manager Team.

Over the past three years, we have appreciated the great feedback
we have received from our faithful readers. The magazine has quickly
become an essential information tool for livestock operators right across North America.

With the changes I’ve outlined here, we look forward to serving the
needs of our advertisers and readers with an even better Manure Manager
in 2005 and beyond.

            Regards,

            Perry Rosehill
