Berlin, MD – A fourth-generation farmer is facing his first federal lawsuit.

Alan Hudson, a contractor
producer under Perdue Farms, has been accused by the Waterkeepers Alliance and
Assateague Coastkeeper of violating the Clean Water Act. Hudson claims he
contained chicken manure and kept significant pollution out of the area waters.
