Manure hauling in Wisconsin underway

manure hauling and tillage is underway in some parts of Wisconsin.

April 15, 2009 – According to a brief report in the Capital Times, manure hauling and tillage is underway in some parts of Wisconsin.

Based on information contained in a progress report from the Wisconsin field office of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service, manure hauling is “in full swing” with fertilizer applications being made to winter wheat and alfalfa fields despite some ground frost.
