Features United States
Manure expo, growing stronger every year

It all began in 2001 when the University of Wisconsin was informed that the industry wanted a place to see side-by-side comparison of agitation and application equipment.

From there, the first North American Manure Expo was developed and held near Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin.

Since that time, the expo has expanded into a travelling event, hosting events in Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Nebraska and Ontario, Canada.

In 2013, the North American Manure Expo was officially formalized as a non-profit organization, consisting of members of Wisconsin’s manure applicator organization, at least one professional hauler from another state, industry company representatives, various national-level extension professionals and a member of Manure Manager magazine’s staff.

Fast forward five years and the North American Manure Expo continues to grow stronger every year, providing the perfect vehicle for professional manure haulers, applicators, brokers, livestock professionals, crop consultants, compost managers, custom operators and nutrient management specialists to explore the industry’s latest innovations.

Don’t miss out on this year’s event being held in Brookings, South Dakota, located 55 miles north of Sioux Falls, at the Swiftel Center. The event will feature an industry-specific tradeshow, educational sessions, facility tours and on-field equipment demos.
