A veritable miniature city dedicated to all things manure-related is being constructed in a field on Lesher’s Poultry Farm, off Ingram Drive in Chambersburg. More than 90 manufacturers and service providers will be exhibiting their wares as part of the annual expo’s trade show, open 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on July 14 and 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 15.

To help open the trade show on July 14, several manufacturers will be holding special New Product Showcase presentations in the Country View Family Farm Tent. These 30-minute sessions will provide businesses the opportunity to introduce their latest product advancements to interested attendees.

The evening of July 14 at the expo grounds, Digested Organics will be holding a seminar in the GEA Farm Technologies Tent from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. while Bazooka Farmstar will be hosting an educational school on its products from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Greenfield Spreading & Sales Tent.

Many manufacturers and businesses use the North American Manure Expo to launch new products so be sure to visit all the exhibitor booths in the trade show. You never know what new ideas and surprises await you.

Of course, Manure Expo is more than a trade show. The event also features full day dairy and equine/small beef farm tours and agitation demonstrations on July 14 plus a line up of compost, solid and liquid manure application demonstrations and education sessions on July 15.

There are only a few weeks left before the show so register soon. Drop by manureexpo.org to check out the schedule, sign up for the tour of your choice and learn more about the event. You, too, can enjoy having Manure than You Can Handle.
