Prairie, Man – Dairy farmers are looking at their options for meeting the
upcoming 2013 manure management regulations.

"The regulation for
2013 is that there can be no manure spreading in winter, and therefore
producers that have been doing that until now will have to build a manure
storage facility," explains David Wiens, chair of the Dairy Farmers of
Manitoba.
