Assured, offered by JBS United’s Environmental Services Group, is a new environmental compliance program that combines a cost-effective mobile solution with the extensive expertise of highly qualified environmental consultants. The program automates the setup, maintenance, and analysis for record keeping and manure management while meeting state and federal regulatory requirements. Assured, designed for producers of pigs, poultry, and dairy cows, is initially launching in Indiana and Illinois with expansion to Iowa, Ohio, Michigan and other states to follow shortly.
“Our goal is to bring growers a simple and accurate way to stay compliant with state and federal regulations,” said Kari Keller-Steele, director of environmental services at JBS United. “Automating the in-field data capture and providing single click reports streamlines the inspection process. It makes great business sense.”
Assured utilizes Hestia Software’s mobile solution enabling producers, in the field or office, to plan manure applications, record events, and capture daily and weekly inspection information.
