– Residents of Harrison County, Indiana, have organized a group to fight the expansion of
a swine farm between the towns of Elizabeth and Laconia.

– Residents of Harrison County, Indiana, have organized a group to fight the expansion of
a swine farm between the towns of Elizabeth and Laconia.

About 20 opponents who’ve
formed Citizens of Harrison County for Sustainable Farming have scheduled a
forum for7 p.m. Friday at the South Harrison Community Center in Elizabeth.
They also expect to ask the county commissioners to enact an
ordinance to restrict such concentrated animal feeding operations.
