ICA reviewing proposed regs for applying manure to frozen ground

November 10, 2008, Ames, IA – The
Iowa Cattlemen’s Association (ICA) has received a preliminary draft of
the regulations on application of manure on frozen ground, which are
being proposed by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

November 10, 2008, Ames, IA – The Iowa Cattlemen’s Association (ICA) has received a preliminary draft of the regulations on application of manure on frozen ground, which are being proposed by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

The ICA’s board of directors plans to review and discuss the proposed regulations at the organization’s November 12 board meeting.

Questions or comments will be accepted by the Iowa DNR prior to November 17.
