Hog manure spill contaminates stream in Quebec

May 13, 2016, Saint-Guillaume, Que – Work crews from Quebec’s Environment Ministry were in Saint-Guillaume, Que., 100 kilometres northeast of Montreal, May 11 to clean up after a pipe carrying liquid hog manure burst.
The pipe broke at night, spewing manure into a local stream and contaminating about 50,000 litres of water, the ministry said. READ MORE
