Mitch Daniels’ one-time goal of doubling pork production, but environmental
activists say it is still cause for alarm.
Manure has contributed to
algae blooms and is being blamed for a rise in severe fish kills, including one
in 2008 that killed nearly 47,000 fish in Randolph County.
