Georgia couple fined for manure-pit breach

A couple will pay $6,500 to settle an
environmental case brought against them when they breached an old manure pit in
Georgia and let some of the contents run into Rugg Brook.

environmental case brought against them when they breached an old manure pit in
Georgia and let some of the contents run into Rugg Brook.

The Department of Environmental Conservation announced
Thursday that Gordon and Kathleen Babcock will pay a $2,000 penalty and $4,500
