GEA system removes extra nutrients from manure

June 30, 2015, Kewaunee, WI – GEA Farm Technologies is bringing its engineering expertise to Kewaunee County where it is testing its Dairy Manure Processing System on Pagel’s Ponderosa Dairy.

The goal is to use GEA’s Dairy Manure Processing System to process 250,000 gallons of liquid manure created by dairy cows on Pagel’s dairy so that the nutrient surpluses are minimized and the products that result can be effectively put back to use on the farm and in the fields, says Jeramy Sanford, sales specialist with GEA.
