Fiscalini Farms methane digester on display

– Fiscalini Farms’ complete mix methane digester system will be on display June
29 at a showcase event and tour. The event is set for 10 a.m. at the Modesto
dairy.

– Fiscalini Farms’ complete mix methane digester system will be on display June
29 at a showcase event and tour. The event is set for 10 a.m. at the Modesto
dairy.

A wide array of local and
state elected officials have been invited to attend, along with representatives
from the funding agency – the California Energy Commission – and dairy industry
members.

The electricity generated
is used by the dairy barn and Fiscalini Cheese Company’s cheese making
facility. Any residual electricity is sold to the Modesto Irrigation District.
