Farm earns distinction for compost facility

July 17, 2009, Redding, CT – Whimsy Brook Farm, Ltd, has just completed
the first uncovered manure compost facility in the State of Connecticut.

July 17, 2009, Redding, CT – Whimsy Brook Farm, Ltd, has just completed the first uncovered manure compost facility in the State of Connecticut.

The new facility was built with the help of the state departments of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, the University of Connecticut, and Archer Engineering.
