Facility debuts turkey manure system

see a new biomass energy system that will turn turkey manure into electricity.

City, MI – Sietsema Farm Feeds will open its facility today for the public to
see a new biomass energy system that will turn turkey manure into electricity.

The farm will collect
70,000 pounds of manure a day from more than one million turkeys and create power
to mill grain that feeds the turkeys.
