greenhouse gas reductions.

NativeEnergy – an international marketer of high quality carbon offsets and renewable energy credits (RECs) – has formed a partnership with Agrilab – a company that develops, designs, manufactures, and markets heat transfer solutions – to identify and quantify possible on-farm greenhouse gas reductions while evaluating new opportunities to leverage the carbon market and facilitate widespread implementation of new renewable energy projects.
Agrilab's heat transfer system captures and uses steam that is generated during manure composting. That captured steam can be used to heat hot water and farm buildings. The system also transforms the composted material into a high-grade, nutrient-rich soil amendment that can be used by the farm or sold as quality compost.
Agrilab's system can be implemented and used by bovine, equine, crop, food processing operations and greenhouses.
NativeEnergy will provide its expertise in the carbon market to study and quantify the greenhouse gas reductions created by the aerobic composting system and other components of the projects.
