June 12, 2012, Wellington, FL — Inside a group of steamy stables on a spacious horse farm, about 60 potential investors and curious elected officials recently listened to a 19-minute video presentation on how a new recycling process could help solve Wellington’s illegal horse manure dumping problem.
Shelly Moore Townsend, CEO of the waste recycling company Equine Eco Green, is trying to build a $7.5 million recycling plant in 20-Mile Bend but needs money and village support to do it. Townsend’s patented system cleans, dries and recycles horse manure and bedding for reuse. READ MORE
