Engineer describes manure composting

May 7, 2010, Shelton, WA –
Any small farm with animals on it will benefit from composting manure.

Rich Geiger, district
engineer for the Mason Conservation District in Mason County, Wash., listed
some of those benefits: better water quality, better animal health, mud
control, odor control, improved property appearance and value and a useable
product in the end.
