Titan Energy Development has developed what it says is a unique business plan that helps farmers “go green” without the huge capital expense of designing, installing, maintaining and servicing an anaerobic digester of their own.

Titan designs and builds fully functional complete anaerobic digesters on farms at little or no cost to the farm owner. Throughout the life of the digester, the company takes care of all the operation, maintenance and monitoring. Their goal is to eliminate the time farm owners have to spend on environmental headaches and manure management, so they can spend more time making money from their farm.

Titan specializes in the development of renewable energy, the energy derived from methane gas. By harvesting these gases through an anaerobic digester, they generate renewable energy and sell it back to the local power grid. Their established relationships with local utilities assures a ready outlet for the renewable energy that is created. In fact, more and more states are mandating higher levels of energy come from renewable resources—which is how Titan can afford the cost of building these anaerobic digesters.

Along with the many environmental and social benefits the farm enjoys, Titan Energy Development is able to structure manure management programs that create cost reductions to the farm in electricity, bedding or offset heat and hot water usage as well as offer the potential for added profit. The cost reductions and profit potential offered to the farm are proportionate to the quality and supply of the manure the farm is able to pass through.
