Dumped manure raises environmental concerns in LA

Aug. 26, 2013, Kentwood, LA – There are environmental concerns in Tangipahoa Parish after 800,000 gallons of raw cow manure was dumped into waterways leading to Lake Pontchartrain.
Environmentalists are concerned over the recent dumping of raw cow manure into Big Creek near Kentwood. The waste came from two dairy lagoons owned by a retired dairy farmer. READ MORE
