DNR cleans up manure spill in Franklin County

IA — The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is cleaning up a manure spill
west of Hampton in Franklin County.

IA — The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is cleaning up a manure spill
west of Hampton in Franklin County.

According to the DNR, a
few days ago, the driver of a hog manure tanker owned by Nutrient Solutions,
based in Webster City, lost control and landed upside down in a wetland owned
by the Franklin County Conservation Board.
