Dismissal sought in runoff case

MD – Attorneys for Perdue Farms have asked a federal district court judge to
dismiss a pending Clean Water Act lawsuit against the company, arguing the
environmental group pressing the case has failed to follow correct procedures
in bringing a citizen’s complaint.

environmental group pressing the case has failed to follow correct procedures
in bringing a citizen’s complaint.

Lawyers for Alan and
Kristin Hudson, owners of the Logtown Road farm that allegedly discharged
pollutants into a Pocomoke River watershed ditch, made similar arguments in a separate
motion to dismiss.
