The deadline to submit a nomination for American Biogas Council’s Biogas Industry Awards is September 13, 2019.
The Biogas Industry Awards were developed in 2012 to recognize biogas projects, technology and individuals that are helping to advance the industry. Biogas is a type of renewable energy derived from organic waste, such as manure.
Recipients can receive awards for Project of the Year, Innovation of the Year, Biogas Visionary, Friend of the ABC, and Longevity Awards. For Project of the Year, one award will be given in each sub-category of agricultural, municipal, institutional, and merchant. The Council shares that the judges will be looking for projects that show “examples of cutting-edge technology, unique partnerships, and break-through uses of energy or co-products.”
Submit a nomination by visiting the Biogas Industry Awards site and following the instructions for the specific award.
The winners will be announced at the Biogas Industry Awards Dinner taking place at BioCycle REFOR19, on October 29 in Madison, WI.
