Dane County manure digester pipe ruptures

December 2, 2013, Vienna, WI – The Dane Community Digester experienced a ruptured pipe Nov. 24, leaking 300,000 gallons of manure at the site.
An employee discovered the rupture on Nov. 25, according to a press release by Clear Horizons, the company contracted to construct and operate the waste management and biogas energy plant. Cleanup was expected to be complete by Nov. 28. READ MORE
