upheld a decision by the state’s Department of Ecology not to test
groundwater at CAFOs.

April 27, 2009, Olympia, WA – The Washington Court of Appeals recently upheld a decision by the state’s Department of Ecology not to test groundwater at CAFOs.

According to a report in the Yakima Herald-Republic, the court also said dairies can withhold information from the public about their manure management systems if they feel it could hurt their competitive position.
