Company adapts camera for AD tank inspection

July 29, 2013 – Glass-fused-to-steel tanks specialist Hayes GFS is reporting success with an intrinsically safe-rated inspection camera, which it used to inspect an anaerobic sludge digester, without having to decommission the plant.

Hayes GFS approached Ashtead Technology for the equipment, because of its experience with push-rod cameras and remote-control crawlers for inspecting drains, culverts and pipes – some of which can harbor potentially explosive gases, such as methane. READ MORE
