Equipment specialists 360 Yield has unveiled the first look at its new vision the 360 Rain.

Designed for growers to deliver water to row crops, the Rain uses the hose reel method, with the hose mounted on a mobile base. Navigation is autonomous.

Its estimated ROI (based off 2020 growing season trends) is $260 per acre of corn (65 bushels, $4 commodity price) and $174 per acre of soy (14.5 bushels, $12 commodity price).

The 360 Rain is not available for retail just yet, but for 2022, 360 Yield is looking for select cooperators to put the device to work. More information can be found on 360 Yield’s website.
