CH4 reiterates desire for $15m NY biodigester

August 9, 2012, Lowville, NY — Officials from CH4 Biogas recently reiterated their desire to site a $15 million manure and food-waste digester just south of Lowville, NY.
The Florida-based company proposes to convert manure trucked from area farms and food waste — most piped from the local Kraft Foods cream cheese plant — into methane gas. The gas would be piped back to Kraft and burned on-site for heat and electricity at the plant while the processed waste would be returned to the farms. READ MORE
