IA — As he looks over his new cattle confinement, Bill Couser muses on his
vision for the future of Iowa cattle feeding.

His new monoslope
building, which has a roof slanted downward on the north side of its east-west
configuration, is a key to that future. The roof protects 900 of Couser’s 3,600
cattle and their manure from rain.
