CA council approves manure-to-energy study

CA – The Norco City Council recently approved spending almost $700,000 on a
study to determine whether a plant that would convert horse manure and other
waste to energy is financially and physically feasible.

study to determine whether a plant that would convert horse manure and other
waste to energy is financially and physically feasible.

Most of the money to pay
Chevron Energy Solutions will come from a federal Department of Energy grant.
Norco was required to match a portion of the grant. Its share is $187,500.
