Aussie manure injector delivers to the roots

November 7, 2012 – Farmers in Australia are trying out a new direct drill manure injector developed by a local equipment shop to delivering manure directly into the soil with very little wastage.

According to one of the developers – Peter Watson of Ag-Culture Enterprises – the machine was built to reduce the amount of product farmers needed to grow their crop. By placing the manure right at the root zone and not in the inter space, the product is not washed away during flood irrigation or a large rain event. READ MORE
