On January 19, 2011 from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. producers with current soil tests can learn how to use their
soil tests to write their own nutrient management plan. Producers who already
have a nutrient management plan can attend a refresher course on February 16,
2011 from 1 to 3 p.m. to review current agronomy recommendations.
A SNAP-Plus computer
training course will be offered on February 24, 2011. SNAP-Plus is a computer
software program that serves as an excellent tool for tracking nutrient
applications and updating your nutrient management plan every year.
Each of the three meetings
will be hosted at the administration building located at 127 E. Oak Street in
Juneau, WI.
There is no fee for these
programs, but pre-registration is encouraged. To register or to obtain
additional information, contact Matt Hanson at the Dodge County UW-Extension office at (920) 386-3790 or http://dodge.uwex.edu/.
