Twelve things to consider before spreading manure this winter

2019 was a year to remember for all the wrong reasons: wickedly wet weather, delayed harvests and now full manure pits. With manure applications taking a backseat to getting crops off the fields, many producers find themselves in the unenviable position of trying to apply manure mid-winter.
