Manure seeps into Quebec town’s water

June 28, 2010, Montreal, Que — People in the town of Windsor, Que., about 160 kilometres east of Montreal, have to boil their drinking water after a major leak of pig manure contaminated a local waterway.

Quebec’s environment department said more than 100,000 litres of pig manure leaked from a tank into a creek feeding into the Watopeka River.
