Conservation is hosting its Simplifying Dairy Nutrient Management seminar at
the World Ag Expo, Feb. 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Panelists will discuss the
use of innovative technologies and practices they’ve used to improve water
quality on and off the farm, while also satisfying water-quality regulations
and protecting important water resources; utilizing the nutrients of dairy
waste on silage crops to maintain healthy yields, and reducing the need for
costly commercial fertilizers.
