January 25, 2010, Rosendale, WI – One of Wisconsin’s largest
dairy operations has been given the go-ahead to get bigger.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources recently
approved Rosendale Dairy’s request to modify its water protection permit,
allowing the farm to expand from 4,000 cows to 8,000. The farm can also
increase its manure land spreading area to 12,000 acres.
