September 21, 2009, Morrison, WI — All it took was an early
thaw for the drinking water here to become unsafe.
Runoff of waste from farm animals is said to be a source of
pollutants in drinking water. The New York Times recently printed a series of
articles, entitled Toxic Waters, examining alleged worsening pollution in
American waters, and regulators’ response.
