DynaPress dewatering system design provides complete control over the drying process
Written by Parkson Corporation
dynapress
The DynaPress manure dewatering press from Parkson Corporation is said to effectively separate solid material from liquid, producing cake solids up to 60 percent dry. The design of the press provides complete control of the drying process. As the sludge moves through the channel and dewaters, the pneumatically controlled restriction plates can be closed or opened to create increasing or decreasing pressure at the outlet. Thus, the dryness of the solids is controlled by the operator to meet specific requirements.

The DynaPress is compact, efficient and cost effective, with low maintenance and operating costs, according to the company. The dewatering process is completely enclosed to ensure minimal odor and reduce corrosive exposure to nearby equipment. It is said to be simple to operate requiring very little operator attention, and features a semi-automated, self-cleaning cycle. DynaPress units are available in capacities from 15 gpm to 140 gpm.

This self-contained dewatering system is skid-mounted and ready to connect to the utilities and sludge influent piping.
