After years of having a static website, we thought we’d become more interactive, providing up-to-the-minute information on the latest in manure management and regulation. Hello - Thanks for the opportunity to discuss manure matters & more. From 20+ years observing barnyards and loafing shed manure packs in both very high and very odor production conditions - it is clear that with no to very low odor production, manured areas do not attract some pest flies. For example, very dry or fully composted manure attracts almost no pest flies. Let's see more info on the manure odor/pest fly attractant dynamics, please! Many thanks, James.
