Trees kill odors and other emissions from poultry farms

— Planting just three rows of trees around a poultry farm can cut
nuisance emissions of dust, ammonia, and odors from poultry houses and
aid in reducing neighbor complaints, according to scientists from the
University of Delaware.
Biofilters eligible practice through EQIP

Livestock producers with confinement operations can now apply to
receive financial assistance through the U.S. Department of
Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to install
biofilters, odor-reducing structures fit to the outlet of confinement
